What The Holistic Calling
is about
If you want to learn about the health of a population, look at the air they breathe, the water they drink, and the places where they live.
— Hippocrates, 5th century BC
I was born and raised in the home country of Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine. As a child, I asked to be told his story time and time again, fascinated by how ancient civilisations perceived and achieved physical and mental wellbeing. During my early adolescence, I started experimenting with holistic approaches to physical and mental health and educating myself on alternative viewpoints in regard to nutrition, exercise, human connection and spirituality. I decided to ignore the voice of the world and only focus on my own internal one, on my own personal and unique calling, even when nobody could hear it yet.
As I pursued my diploma in Holistic Nutrition, I could clearly see what my life's purpose would become. What I envisioned was even greater than practicing in the field of nutritional consulting. I dreamed of building a community, sharing my innate truth with the world, broadening horizons for people that came from the same limited backgrounds many of us grew up in and honouring the inner voice of others like myself when it whispered to them what today's world cannot accept; the truth is inside us.
